About the role

The Sporting Globe is looking for a Duty Manager to help run service smoothly in a lively venue built around great food, cold drinks, and a strong sports atmosphere. The role is focused on leading from the floor, keeping the shift on track, and helping deliver a standout experience for every guest.

What you’ll do

• Oversee the shift and help ensure all areas of the venue operate efficiently.
• Support, guide, and encourage team members while contributing to a positive team environment.
• Handle stock-related tasks, reporting, compliance checks, and other operational duties needed to keep the venue running well.

What you need

• Previous hospitality experience; experience in pubs, bars, or high-volume restaurants is an added advantage.
• A valid RSA, RSG, and TAB Basics qualification.
• A strong interest in creating memorable customer experiences and maintaining an energetic venue.
