Overview
At Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Lusail, Qatar, the Doorman plays a pivotal role in shaping guests' first and last impressions. This position belongs to the Rooms & Guest Services Operations category and involves delivering personalized assistance during guest arrivals and departures to make these moments distinctive and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient guest reception services, facilitating smooth arrivals and departures.
- Handle operational requests, attend to guest needs, complete necessary reports, and share local area insights to enhance guest experiences.
- Maintain a professional appearance, adhere to company policies, ensure workplace safety, and protect confidentiality and company assets.
- Be physically active throughout the shift, including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods and assisting with moving and handling items weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted and over 75 pounds with help.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned to support excellent guest service.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- No previous related work or supervisory experience required.
- No licenses or certifications are necessary.
- Physical capability to manage demanding tasks like standing long hours and safely lifting various weights.
