About the role
Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation is focused on providing high-quality medical cannabis that improves patients’ lives. The company supports safe, legal, and effective access to prescription cannabis in Texas and works closely with physicians and qualifying patients. This position represents the company at the dispensary and may be the first point of contact for patients.
What you’ll do
- Welcome patients in a friendly, attentive way and help guide them toward suitable options.
- Address concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, keeping patient retention in mind and escalating issues when needed.
- Follow all state and company inventory controls, including vendor delivery procedures, to reduce loss and maintain accuracy.
- Use the point-of-sale system to create patient profiles, process checkouts, and provide consistent service.
- Maintain a high service standard by developing strong patient relationships.
- Collect patient feedback and share questions or concerns with the relevant team.
- Help educate prospective patients about the Compassionate Use Program and the process to become a Texas Original patient.
- Adhere daily to dispensary policies, including legal compliance, security, access control, inventory tracking, dress code, schedules, and HR rules.
- Work collaboratively with the team and support company growth and improvement initiatives.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned.
What we’re looking for
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or another service-based environment is required.
- A professional, compassionate approach is essential.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities are needed.
- Must be able to obtain state-approved credentials and clear a criminal background check.
- Availability must be open and flexible.
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout an 8-hour shift.
