Overview

OTO Development is excited to offer a rewarding career opportunity as a Dishwasher. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and proper operation of dishwashing equipment and ensuring the kitchen stays organized and sanitary.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine clean and functioning efficiently.
• Clean all dishes including china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils used by the restaurant, kitchen, and banquet teams.
• Break down boxes and dispose of trash by emptying containers into dumpsters.
• Clean kitchen walls as needed to uphold hygiene standards.
• Manage floor mats and perform sweeping and mopping of the kitchen floors every day.
• Assist with regular cleaning of ovens and refrigerators to ensure they remain sanitary.
• Monitor the dishwasher’s temperature readouts to guarantee proper sanitization of all items.
• Maintain dry and debris-free floors at all times to ensure safety.
• Help unload shipments, date inventory items, and store supplies appropriately.

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with shelving located above eye level.
• Capability to stand for extended durations during shifts.
• Knowledge and adherence to safety protocols within the kitchen setting.

Physical Demands

This position is physically demanding requiring frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for prolonged periods.

Travel

The job entails minimal to no travel beyond the location and immediate vicinity.

Additional Information

Sign-on bonus totaling $450 is available, distributed as follows: $150 after 60 days, $150 after 90 days, and $150 after 180 days of employment.
