Directs Store Delivery Associate

Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Directs Store Delivery Associate offers you the opportunity to enhance your retail industry skills. This role involves coordinating and efficiently managing direct and local merchandise deliveries to the store’s salesfloor, contributing to an excellent customer shopping experience and fostering loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure high-value merchandise in assigned designated locations.
• Promptly handle processing of direct shipments, local deliveries, OMNI merchandise, alcohol products, and warehouse trailer receipts.
• Provide training to other Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Associates on receiving area operations and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the receiving area by preparing returns, claims, and Material Transfer Requests (MTRs) with complete documentation for swift processing.
• Adhere to and promote safety protocols concerning lifting techniques, use of box cutters, pallet jacks, ladders, and related equipment.
• Collaborate closely with Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to resolve discrepancies or operational issues effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies through safeguarding backdoor and key controls.
• Follow cold chain protocols rigorously to guarantee quality, documenting all required details in the Receiving Temperature Log or Sure Check Application.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.30 (CAD).

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
