Role Mission and Responsibilities
As a member of Group-IB's CERT team, you will act as an advanced analyst dealing with a spectrum of digital risks found online. You will utilize intelligence and specialized tools to uncover schemes like phishing, scams, trademark misuse, and online piracy.
- Conduct ongoing analysis and surveillance of various web resources to detect cyber threats.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage incidents related to phishing, online fraud, unauthorized trademark use, and copyright infringement.
- Engage with website owners, hosting services, domain registrars, and authorities to facilitate the removal of online violations.
- Provide client support to counteract online brand abuses.
- Compile and deliver incident reports and service summaries for client review.
- Investigate emerging scam and phishing tactics to enhance detection efficiency and deepen understanding of the threat environment.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or comparable professional experience.
- A passionate commitment to combating cybercrime.
- Motivation to work within a globally operating international organization.
- Strong analytical capabilities, ingenuity, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Comprehensive knowledge of internet protocols and network operation fundamentals.
- Experience collaborating with hosting providers or domain registrars is advantageous.
- Responsible, eager learner, with excellent literacy skills.
- Adept at working within and communicating across remote teams.
- Proficient in both English and Portuguese; Spanish language skills are an asset.
