Descripción del trabajo
Role overview
We are seeking a DevEx / DevOps Engineer to join the Infrastructure team and help advance our build, test, and deployment ecosystem. In this role, you will create scalable delivery pipelines, shorten build and release cycles, and strengthen security and observability throughout the software delivery process. You will work closely with engineers across the organization to understand stack-specific deployment needs and improve the systems and workflows that make releases smoother.
What you'll do
- Develop, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for microservices written in Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript, as well as Unity-based applications.
- Create shared pipeline templates and reusable workflows to reduce duplication across repositories.
- Embed security controls into the delivery process, including SAST, DAST, dependency checks, secret detection, and SBOM creation.
- Enhance build speed through techniques such as caching and parallel execution.
- Streamline release processes by improving versioning, approvals, migrations, feature-flag handling, and release-note generation.
- Work with engineering teams to improve developer experience through local development parity, preview environments, pull request checks, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Establish monitoring for pipelines and deployments using metrics, logs, alerts, and dashboards.
- Assist with incident handling for release and deployment failures.
- Regularly assess tooling and processes to keep the delivery stack current, efficient, and cost-aware.
Required qualifications
You should bring at least 3 years of experience in DevEx, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering. Strong practical scripting and automation ability is needed, especially with Bash and one of Node, Go, or Python. You must also be comfortable working with GitHub and GitHub Actions, troubleshooting issues across CI logs, build pipelines, and runtime environments, and using Docker and Kubernetes. Experience deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including IAM and networking, is expected. Infrastructure-as-Code experience is also required, with Terraform preferred.
Nice-to-have experience
- Experience working with monorepos and advanced build tools such as Bazel, Nx, Turborepo, or Pants.
- Exposure to GitHub Enterprise Server administration in a self-hosted setup.
- Experience managing self-hosted JFrog Artifactory and related JFrog tools.
- Knowledge of software supply chain security practices such as SLSA, Sigstore, provenance, signing, and attestations.
- Familiarity with observability platforms such as Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry.
