Role overview
Cascades Data Solutions India is hiring a Design Engineer to work from Bengaluru on the development of engineering components and production-ready design outputs. The role focuses on creating and refining plastic, sheet metal, and Windchill-related parts using Creo, while supporting delivery against customer expectations and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop plastic, sheet metal, and Windchill components using Creo-based design tools.
- Work closely with teams across functions to make sure the design output aligns with client needs and applicable industry standards.
- Prepare detailed designs, technical drawings, and supporting documentation for manufacturing use.
- Identify design-related problems and improve the design for easier and more efficient manufacturability.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in design engineering, with hands-on exposure to plastic design, sheet metal design, or Windchill component development.
- Strong working knowledge of Creo is mandatory.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks will be considered an advantage.
- Experience delivering large projects with several stakeholders and demanding timelines.
Eligibility
Graduation is not required for this role.
Compensation
The offered pay is INR 5,00,000 to 9,00,000 per year.
