Key Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous and professional customer service tailored to their requirements.
• Oversee grocery department staff and operations in the absence of the Grocery Manager.
• Encourage and coach employees to foster a culture of development and engagement.
• Handle preparation and completion of customer grocery orders and daily grocery preparations.
• Manage merchandising activities within the Grocery Department following SMART retailing initiatives.
• Ensure all sanitation and company standards are consistently met.
• Perform necessary administrative tasks related to the grocery department.

Candidate Profile

• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Dependable with a solid work ethic and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Completion of High School Diploma.
• At least 12 months of relevant experience in a comparable role.

Additional Information

Travel requirements for this role are estimated between 0 to 10%. The position is full-time and located in St. John's Metro area, Newfoundland and Labrador.
