To support our growth, we are enhancing our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to improve organizational performance and enable informed decision-making. We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Demand Planner to become a key figure within our Operations team, specifically for the Parfums de Marly brand. This role involves forecasting demand, examining market trends, and working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal inventory.

  • Apply statistical forecasting models and business intelligence tools to ensure precise demand forecasts.
  • Analyze past sales, market conditions, seasonal patterns, customer demand behaviors, promotional events, and product life cycles.
  • Track forecast accuracy and bias to improve prediction quality.
  • Detect forecast risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation plans.
  • Work in close collaboration with sales and marketing to synchronize demand plans with promotions, product launches, and strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate demand consensus meetings involving Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.

Data Analytics and ERP Management

  • Evaluate performance metrics including forecast accuracy, bias, fill rate, inventory, and service levels.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop KPI scorecards and reports.
  • Manage demand planning master data within SAP, including forecast inputs, planning parameters, and item master data updates.
  • Confirm data integrity and partner with IT for system enhancements and automation initiatives.

Inventory Oversight

  • Supervise inventory quantities, stock status, and forecasted requirements.
  • Identify risks like low stock, stockouts, excess, and obsolete inventory.
  • Monitor fill rates and service level targets.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory control.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience in distribution or consumer goods retail sectors preferred.
  • Proficient with statistical forecasting techniques and relevant software.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP; experience with SAP Business ByDesign is advantageous.
  • Advanced analytical abilities, particularly with Excel and demand planning tools.
  • Knowledgeable about S&OP workflows and key performance indicators.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Highly organized and detail-focused with effective time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams across functions and regions.
