Delivery Rider

Overview

This role involves picking up groceries or parcels from Blinkit's dark stores and delivering them promptly to customers, aiming for a delivery time of 10 to 20 minutes per order. The position requires usage of the Blinkit Partner App to manage orders, maintain service ratings, and track delivery timings. Work schedules are flexible, covering morning, evening, or night shifts, and primarily occur in the field using a bike or scooter.

Compensation Details

Earnings are based on a per-order system along with incentives and petrol allowances, without a fixed monthly salary. Average payment per order ranges from INR 20 to 35. Monthly income varies depending on effort and working hours:

• Regular full-time workload typically yields INR 20,000 to 30,000 per month.
• High productivity and longer hours can yield INR 40,000 to 70,000 per month.
• Exceptional performance with heavy workload and incentives might result in earnings exceeding INR 80,000 monthly.

Hourly commitment for higher income (INR 40,000–50,000) generally involves working 10 to 12+ hours daily, completing 25 to 40+ orders per day in peak time slots, and operating in busy urban areas. Real income depends on order availability, demand in the operating area, working hours, and petrol expenses, which may often be borne by the rider. There are days when earnings might be low.

For example, delivering 30 orders with an average pay of INR 25 per order plus INR 200 to 500 incentives results in a daily total between INR 900 and 1200, translating to a monthly income of approximately INR 25,000 to 40,000 over 26 working days.
