Team members will operate from the Clinton store until the Roseboro branch officially opens, ensuring effective hands-on learning and preparation for transitioning to the Roseboro team. Drivers receive daily cash payments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wage: $9 per hour for in-store and delivery duties

Key Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment safely and effectively
• Stock ingredients from deliveries to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers
• Prepare products as needed
• Manage phone orders accurately
• Complete inventory counts and related paperwork
• Maintain facility cleanliness and sanitation regularly

Required Skills and Abilities

• Minimum age of 18 years with a valid driver's license and clean driving record adhering to company standards
• Capability to use company or personal insured vehicle for deliveries
• Strong map-reading and navigational skills to locate addresses within delivery zones
• Ability to navigate varied terrains such as multi-story buildings
• Competency in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing quickly and accurately (calculator use allowed)
• Ability to make correct monetary change promptly
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to handle phone and in-person orders
• Good hand-eye coordination for rapid, precise movements
• Skill in operating computer keyboards or touchscreens for order entry

Working Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather conditions during delivery and outdoor tasks
• In-store temperature ranges from 36°F in coolers to above 90°F in some areas
• Sudden temperature changes between indoor and outdoor environments
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500°F or higher
• Working in confined spaces including walk-in coolers
• Risk of sharp edges and moving machinery parts

Sensory and Physical Requirements

• Good hearing and speaking ability for telephone communications
• Near and mid-range vision for detailed in-store tasks
• Depth perception and ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces
• Far and night vision essential for safe driving

• Capable of directing activities, performing repetitive duties, working independently and collaboratively
