Role Summary

This position is based in Mumbai within Aditya Birla Capital's Analytics-Business department. The Data Scientist will be responsible for leading analytics projects mainly within the banking, NBFCs, fintech, and consultancy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Possess 4 to 6 years of relevant analytics experience particularly in banks, non-banking financial companies, fintech, or consultancy environments.
• Take charge of complete analytical project lifecycles, including model creation, deployment, and stakeholder engagement.
• Apply expert knowledge of machine learning methods and statistical techniques to solve challenges primarily in the financial services domain.
• Communicate complex data science outcomes clearly and succinctly to diverse audiences.
• Design and develop scalable machine learning frameworks for model deployment and consumption.
• Conduct feature engineering by extracting insightful attributes from both traditional and alternative data sources.
• Provide mentorship to junior data scientists within the team.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative disciplines.

Technical Proficiencies

• Strong knowledge of Python and SQL programming languages.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
