Role Overview

The Data Research Analyst position entails exploring extensive datasets to resolve open-ended queries, validate assumptions, and distill complex data into actionable insights that facilitate informed business and product-related decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and examine large datasets to address research questions effectively.
• Develop metrics, cohorts, and segmentation based on product and business datasets.
• Conduct exploratory data analyses to test hypotheses and identify emerging trends.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports utilized by various teams daily.
• Collaborate closely with teams such as product development, growth, and operations to define pertinent questions and deliver relevant insights.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses 1 to 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, research, or analytics roles.
• Proficient in SQL querying and possesses strong spreadsheet skills.
• Exemplifies logical, hypothesis-driven thinking coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Maintains a dependable remote-working environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience using business intelligence tools including Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Previous involvement in SaaS, product-centric, or fast-growing companies is advantageous.
