Role Overview
This full-time position involves designing, developing, and managing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The engineer will work across teams to deliver robust data solutions supporting business insights and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and optimize pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading large datasets.
- Develop and sustain data warehouses and lakes to enable analytical and operational reporting needs.
- Partner with data scientists and analysts to ensure proper data access and data integrity.
- Monitor pipeline performance, handle troubleshooting, and maintain reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, standards, and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in both relational and NoSQL database systems.
- Practical knowledge of ETL/ELT tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, or comparable frameworks.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehouse design methodologies.
- Experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure for data infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities focusing on system scalability and performance.
