Data Center Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Align data center services and resource planning with company strategies and department objectives.
• Evaluate and ensure optimal service quality, operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety tailored to the actual IDC environment to support departmental business activities.
• Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with data center backend teams and operators.
• Drive the development of a user-centric operational system for the data center, fostering continual improvements in IDC infrastructure and management.
• Oversee the overall infrastructure reliability, quality of on-site operations, cost management, and safety standards, while pursuing ongoing enhancements.
• Manage and evaluate IDC on-site operation, maintenance, and outsourcing teams to ensure performance standards are met.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher with over 5 years of experience managing medium to large IDC construction and operations, possessing a deep understanding of IDC lifecycle management and relevant practical expertise.
• Proven track record collaborating with mainstream data centers on construction or operational aspects, with a comprehensive grasp of internal data center functionalities.
• Advanced operational service management skills, familiarity with leading IT management frameworks and tools, alongside capabilities in service design, process design, and process optimization.
• Strong knowledge of prevalent IDC automated operation systems, such as Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM).
• Thorough understanding of key domestic and international IDC technologies, including experience in operating and optimizing large-scale systems like power supply and cooling infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of the regional data center distribution and resource landscape.
