Role Overview
As a Data Analyst at Wellthy, you will partner with company leaders by delivering key analyses, insights, and reports that inform strategic decisions. Reporting directly to the VP of Data, Product, & Engineering Operations, you will be responsible for creating reports and dashboards, leveraging emerging AI tools to enhance workflows, collaborating across teams to track key metrics, ensuring data quality, managing ad hoc data requests, and documenting data processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain performance monitoring reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Integrate AI technologies into daily tasks to streamline data cleaning, preliminary analysis, and documentation creation.
- Collaborate with leadership to define and track outcome-based metrics aligned with company goals.
- Extract actionable insights from data to support stakeholder decision-making.
- Coordinate with data engineers to maintain data integrity for analysis and reporting.
- Handle ad hoc data requests across departments under senior guidance.
- Document processes and communicate any data-related issues to relevant teams.
- Stay curious about modern data tools such as Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Hightouch, and Omni.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst.
- Strong proficiency in SQL with at least three years writing complex queries including joins, CTEs, and window functions.
- Experience building reports using modern BI platforms like Omni, ThoughtSpot, Looker, or Tableau for 3-5 years.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to convey insights clearly and effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in organizing and sharing information.
- Experience using AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot to support code writing, debugging, and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data transformations using dbt.
- Hands-on knowledge in creating forecasting models like moving averages, exponential smoothing, or Prophet.
- Background in customer success reporting and analytics.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, modeling, or automation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000.
