Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join a prominent organisation within the infrastructure sector based in Manchester. Key Responsibilities

Aggregate, sanitize, and analyse large and diverse datasets from multiple origins.
Create, develop, and sustain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Spot trends, patterns, and valuable insights to aid strategic business decisions.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to determine reporting needs.
Convey complex data clearly and understandably for both technical and non-technical viewers.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data presented.
Pursue continual enhancements in data processing and reporting workflows.

Required Skills and Experience

Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst or a similar data-driven role.
Proven background working within the utilities or broader infrastructure sector is mandatory.
Advanced competencies with Power BI are essential.
Strong proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SQL is advantageous.
Excellent analytical capabilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to simplify and communicate complex datasets effectively to non-specialists.
Independent worker with strong teamwork skills.
Must be located in or willing to commute to Manchester.
