Role Overview

The Customer Service Advisor will serve as a key representative for SGS working with a government-awarded service supporting the Small Public Service Vehicle (SPSV) Industry. This role involves managing customer inquiries about scheduling SPSV vehicle inspections, handling booking changes, and processing payments through CRM software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound customer calls, offering accurate information, service guidance, and support.
  • Adhere strictly to pre-approved scripts, Standard Operating Procedures, and data protection regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date and precise customer records and data entries within internal systems.
  • Provide professional, polite service to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum educational qualification: Leaving Certificate and/or FETAC Level 5 certificate.
  • At least one year of experience in customer service roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong proficiency with computers and general IT skills.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working in contact centers is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Irish language competency is considered an advantage.
  • Legal authorization to work in Ireland (valid work permit or visa) is mandatory.
