About the Role
tmp works with B2B marketing leaders to bring clarity and alignment to complex, fast-moving environments. The company brings together around 300 specialists across strategy, data, creative, media, client services, sales activation, and shared services to support major technology brands worldwide.
This position is for a designer who is as interested in how ideas function as in how they appear. The ideal candidate enjoys shaping concepts, turning them into strong visual stories, and communicating them clearly across different channels. You’ll be part of a collaborative creative team made up of art directors, designers, strategists, and writers, and you’ll help bring ideas to life with strong craft, energy, and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
- Move briefs forward through active problem-solving and practical execution instead of waiting for every detail to be resolved first.
- Create work that reflects a real understanding of the idea behind the brief, not just the requested output.
- Take ownership of quality, correctness, and the final delivery of everything you produce.
- Convert conceptual thinking into usable design systems, assets, and finished creative outputs.
- Apply campaign ideas across multiple formats such as digital, out-of-home, sales enablement, and brand touchpoints.
- Adapt designs thoughtfully for different placements and channels rather than simply resizing the same artwork.
- Manage projects and workstreams with limited senior supervision.
- Help guide work through the studio so that the original creative intent remains intact during production.
- At times, own detailed rollout work and execution-heavy deliverables.
- Work closely with copywriters, strategists, and other creatives to strengthen the overall quality of the work.
- Contribute ideas in discussions, offer constructive challenge, and explain design decisions clearly when presenting work.
- Treat every assignment as a design challenge and maintain the same level of care across all outputs.
- Look for ways to improve what already exists by bringing in references, inspiration, and stronger alternatives where possible.
Who This Role Suits
This opportunity is best for someone who is not satisfied with simply completing tasks or waiting for direction. You’ll fit well if you want to help shape the work, contribute ideas, and grow through the impact you make.
- Curious and self-starting, with a tendency to ask why something exists before beginning the design.
- Motivated to improve work rather than merely finish it.
- Comfortable communicating openly, asking questions, and talking through your approach.
- Committed to strong craft standards, even when the work is less visible or glamorous.
- Happy to take responsibility and become a dependable part of the team.
- Open to direct feedback and focused on progress rather than being right.
- Engaged, collaborative, and eager to contribute to building something meaningful.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of agency experience in a fast-paced creative environment.
- A portfolio that demonstrates solid design fundamentals, campaign thinking, and brand application.
- Proof that you can develop visual directions and adapt ideas for multiple formats.
- Experience turning creative direction into polished finished work.
- Strong working knowledge of core design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, or similar software.
- Experience collaborating with writers and strategists on creative projects.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Pre-tax flexible spending account options for healthcare, dependent care, and transit.
- 4% employer 401(k) contribution with no vesting period.
- Generous paid time off, with a recommendation of at least 20 days annually.
- 15 days of sick leave each year.
- Holiday shutdown from December 26th to 29th.
- Parental leave for primary caregivers: 12 weeks at full pay, followed by 12 weeks at 50% pay.
- Parental leave for secondary caregivers: 12 weeks at full pay.
- Access to Unmind, including therapists and coaches.
- Employer-paid life, AD&D, and disability insurance.
- Team getaways and social events, ranging from local celebrations to international trips.
