Role Overview

The Consultant position entails foundational consulting tasks using the Newton methodology. The role involves partnering closely with clients to analyze data, recognize improvement opportunities, and assist in delivering project workstreams under senior oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a compact consultant team to analyze data and map processes aimed at identifying operational improvement opportunities.
• Assist in designing and executing workstreams, maintaining alignment with client objectives and program targets, guided by senior team members.
• Engage on client sites across various Australian locations, working daily with client teams to monitor progress, solve issues, and enhance performance while cultivating sustainable client capabilities.
• Create and support communication of clear, data-informed narratives for stakeholders ranging from frontline supervisors to team leaders, facilitating barrier removal.
• Help develop delivery and resource strategies jointly with senior colleagues to ensure smooth progress of workstreams.
• Detect possibilities for additional future engagements within the client's sector.

Candidate Requirements

• Background in consulting or related sectors.
• Outstanding academic credentials equivalent to First Class Honours or a GPA of at least 6.0/7.0, WAM 80+, or comparable demonstrated skills and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with enthusiasm for tackling complex issues and exceeding expectations.
• High motivation and perseverance aimed at continuous personal development and excellence.
• Keen curiosity and genuine interest in exploring new concepts and opportunities.
• Empathy combined with self-awareness, capable of constructively giving and receiving feedback.
