About Care on Call

Care on Call offers compassionate assistance to individuals in their homes recovering from illness or injury or simply needing extra help in daily life. We seek professional, empathetic, and capable individuals passionate about positively impacting others' lives.

Role Responsibilities

Provide manual handling support
Assist with personal care needs
Perform household chores and prepare meals
Transport clients using their vehicles to attend appointments, work, and social/community activities
Facilitate passive exercises and stretching routines

Candidate Requirements

Possess a current and clean full driver's license
Have legal permission to work in New Zealand
Available during weekends and evenings
Hold Level 2, 3, or 4 health qualifications; applications without these qualifications may not be considered
Previous experience as a caregiver or support worker with similar clientele
Strong communication skills
Energetic, proactive, and possessing a good sense of humor
Reliable, punctual, honest, and caring in approach
