Role Overview

We are seeking a Communications Specialist to represent Netflix in the Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) region. This Berlin-based position, reporting to the Communications Director, DACH, is a fixed-term contract spanning 12 months, covering maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain Netflix's public reputation within the DACH territories.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including Content, Global Affairs, Publicity, and Marketing to build compelling narratives.
• Highlight Netflix's contributions to creative industries, innovation, and cultural impact through storytelling that connects local and global storytelling.
• Engage media and opinion leaders to communicate Netflix's role and influence in the regional entertainment sector.

Candidate Profile

• Possess at least six years of experience in corporate communications, ideally in entertainment, media, or consumer goods sectors.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both German and English.
• Have established contacts in German-speaking media and a strong motivation to expand network connections with journalists and media outlets.
• Demonstrate good judgment, meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a results-oriented approach.
• Adapt well to a fast-paced environment, with responsiveness to constructive critiques.
• Be proactive, self-motivated, capable of managing multiple workflows independently, while contributing effectively as part of a team.
