Communications Manager (Contract)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to lead and execute communication strategies for a major international conference held in Abu Dhabi. This contract role requires a dynamic individual to oversee stakeholder engagement, content creation, agency coordination, social media management, and crisis communication activities while collaborating with multiple partners including government, media, speakers, and industry players.

Role Responsibilities

• Direct and manage PR, social media, and other communications agencies effectively.
• Oversee the creation, approval, and management of communication content and messaging frameworks.
• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies and overall communications planning.
• Coordinate digital and social media communication activities to maximize reach and impact.
• Assist in managing issues and crisis communications as they arise.
• Track communication performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for leadership review.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or equivalent fields.
• Demonstrated success in managing agencies and engaging with key stakeholders.
• Proficient in producing, editing, and refining content in both Arabic and English.
• Experience supporting large-scale events, conferences, summits, or government initiatives is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills complemented by excellent project management capabilities.
