Our client, a rapidly expanding player within the event services sector, is searching for a commercially-focused Commercial Director to spearhead their next growth phase throughout the Middle East. This unique leadership role offers a chance to define the commercial strategy and steer the future trajectory of the company by catalyzing revenue increases, nurturing key client relationships, and penetrating new industries and markets.

Key Responsibilities

The selected individual will prioritize uncovering and cultivating prospects in live events, experiential marketing, entertainment, sports, festivals, and major events, complementing the company's existing range of offerings.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a history of opening fresh markets, securing intricate commercial deals, managing top-performing teams, and fostering enduring client partnerships. They need to challenge conventional approaches, spot emerging avenues, and assist in broadening the company’s clientele.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years’ senior-level experience in commercial leadership or business development.
• Demonstrated success achieving substantial revenue growth.
• Proven capability in expanding enterprises into novel sectors and regions, beyond maintaining existing accounts.
• In-depth understanding of the events industry, preferably including exhibitions, live events, experiential marketing, sports, entertainment, or venue management.
• Extensive network of senior decision-makers within the Middle East region.
• Experience directing high-achieving commercial teams.
• Robust commercial skills including pricing strategies, negotiation, forecasting, and strategic business planning.
• Ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and contribute to corporate strategy design.
