Role Overview

The Portland Area Manager is responsible for overseeing janitorial teams across multiple locations, ensuring that all cleaning and maintenance operations adhere to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily janitorial activities across various sites, guaranteeing that cleanliness and maintenance expectations are consistently met or surpassed.
• Lead, coach, and develop janitorial staff and supervisors to foster a high-performance environment focused on teamwork and ongoing improvement.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits on-site to evaluate work quality, identify gaps, and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Build and sustain positive client relationships by understanding their requirements and ensuring satisfaction with cleaning services.
• Enforce compliance with health and safety guidelines, promoting a secure and safe workplace for all employees.
• Manage cleaning supply and equipment inventories, ensuring teams are well-equipped to execute their tasks efficiently.
• Develop and oversee budgets related to janitorial functions, including labor, materials, and equipment upkeep.
• Handle and resolve client or employee concerns swiftly and professionally.
• Introduce and supervise sustainable cleaning practices and eco-friendly products implementation.
• Compile reports on operational performance, activities, and other metrics for senior leadership review.
