Job Overview
This part-time Cleaner position is based in Woodstock, Ontario and operates on an on-call basis. Although the role is remote, applicants must reside within the same city or region as the posting and should be prepared to attend local offices, meetings, training, or company events as needed.
Role Summary
The cleaning services provided help prepare homes for new tenants or maintain cleanliness post-maintenance or renovation. The role supports a diverse range of residential cleaning tasks, mainly involving move-out, turnover, and post-maintenance cleaning, with occasional housekeeping duties in occupied homes. Reliable cleaners who are detail-oriented and capable of working independently are sought.
Typical Duties
- Perform move-out cleaning for residential rental units.
- Conduct turnover cleaning of vacant properties.
- Provide deep cleaning services following repairs or renovations.
- Prepare residences before new tenants move in.
- Offer scheduled housekeeping in occupied homes.
- Clean various areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, and common spaces.
- Detail cleaning inside appliances, cabinets, closets, baseboards, and windowsills.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and debris removal.
- Complete quality checks and final walkthroughs before finishing assignments.
- Take completion photos as required.
- Report any damage or maintenance issues discovered during cleaning.
- Use mobile apps to update work progress and reports.
- Travel directly between assigned properties.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years of paid experience in professional cleaning.
- Ability to handle residential cleaning assignments independently.
- Experience with move-out, turnover, deep cleaning, or housekeeping services.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to consistent quality.
- Ability to identify and report problems rather than ignore them.
- Professional communication skills with clients and operations staff.
- Must own a reliable vehicle and cleaning equipment/supplies.
- Possession of a smartphone capable of GPS, app use for work orders, photo capture, and job updates.
- Basic English language skills and dependable attendance.
- Well-organized with strong time management capabilities.
Preferred Experience
- Residential turnover and property preparation cleaning.
- Post-maintenance or renovation deep cleaning.
- Cleaning in apartments and condominiums.
- Move-in and move-out cleaning experience.
- Handling high-volume residential cleaning assignments.
