Cleaner - Residential Property Maintenance

Job Overview

This is an on-call, part-time cleaning position based in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Although the role is remote, candidates must reside in the specified city or region as local attendance for office meetings, training, or events may be required.

Role Summary

As a member of Bridgepoint Maintenance's cleaning team, you'll be responsible for preparing residential properties such as rental units during move-outs, turnovers, or post-maintenance cleanings. Some assignments may also include housekeeping services for occupied homes. The role requires dependable individuals who take pride in detailed, independent work.

Typical Responsibilities

• Perform move-out cleanings for rental properties
• Conduct turnover cleanings of vacant units
• Deep cleaning after maintenance, repairs, or renovations
• Prepare homes for new residents
• Housekeeping duties in occupied residences when scheduled
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, hallways, and common spaces thoroughly
• Detail cleaning inside appliances, cabinets, closets, baseboards, and windowsills
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and manage debris removal
• Perform final quality walkthroughs for assignment completion
• Capture completion photos as required
• Report damages, maintenance issues, or areas requiring follow-up
• Update job statuses via a mobile work application
• Travel directly between assigned properties

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years professional paid cleaning experience
• Ability to work independently on residential cleaning tasks
• Experience with move-out, turnover, deep cleaning, or housekeeping services
• Strong attention to detail and pride in consistent high-quality performance
• Ability to identify and report property issues without delay
• Professional communication skills with customers and operations team
• Possession of a reliable vehicle for travel between assignments
• Own cleaning supplies and equipment
• Smartphone capable of GPS, mobile work app usage, photography, and reporting
• Basic English communication proficiency
• Dependable attendance and strong organizational abilities
