About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join the team at Royal York Property Management serving Hamilton, Ontario and nearby areas. This role requires individuals who perform a wide variety of cleaning duties with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards across properties. Candidates should be energetic and able to flourish in a fast-moving environment while maintaining professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning of properties to uphold excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning vents, and restrooms
• Handle specialized cleaning assignments including window washing and carpet care
• Inspect areas before and after cleaning, recording observations accurately
• Report any deficiencies or repair needs to management promptly
• Maintain stock levels and upkeep of assigned facility zones
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations
• Follow all company cleaning protocols to ensure consistency and quality

Candidate Requirements

• At least three years of experience in professional cleaning roles
• Possess a valid driving license and have reliable access to a vehicle
• Well-versed in various cleaning techniques and proficient with cleaning equipment
• Detail-oriented with a strong dedication to maintaining high standards
• Excellent skills in organization and communication
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Knowledgeable about safe chemical handling and cleaning supplies
• Must have an iPhone for work-related communication purposes
• Flexible and adaptable to different cleaning settings and schedules
• Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks effectively

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary ranging from $38,000 to $50,000 CAD annually
