About the Role
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) invites applications for a full-time permanent Class 3A Propane Driver position located in Carman, Manitoba. This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $26.31 to $35.50 depending on candidate experience. The position ensures drivers return home nightly, providing job stability with a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, pension contribution, work gear, and the necessary training.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver propane safely and professionally to a variety of local customers across agricultural, commercial, and residential sectors, maintaining excellent customer service.
- Conduct thorough daily inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, accurately log work hours, and report any concerns using electronic log tools.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance by performing preventative care and addressing minor repairs as needed.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards, procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements throughout all operations.
Team and Culture
You will collaborate closely with fellow drivers and service technicians and report directly to the Propane Operations Supervisor. The team values customer service excellence, safety, and maintaining a balanced work-life environment.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of one year of professional driving experience; relevant education may be considered.
- Possession of a valid Class 3A or Class 1A driver's license.
- Comfortable using computers and electronic logging systems.
- Physically able to manage demanding tasks such as handling heavy hoses and equipment weighing at least 50 pounds.
- Willing to undergo pre-employment substance and alcohol screening due to safety-sensitive nature of the role.
