Job description
Overview and Responsibilities
This role involves comprehensive management of civil and structural construction, refurbishment, fit-out, and Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects from inception through completion. The Project Manager will develop and oversee detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and allocation of resources. Key tasks include supporting project tenders and design development in collaboration with Qualified Persons (QPs), supervising design and project teams for quality and compliance, and coordinating with a diverse range of stakeholders such as consultants, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
Responsibilities also extend to managing fit-out, refurbishment, and A&A works with close attention to design coordination, review of shop drawings, material submissions, and execution on site. A strong familiarity with local construction laws, Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) standards, and relevant codes of practice is essential. The role demands proactive risk management, fostering safety and quality control on-site, providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff, and supporting continuous improvements in project delivery processes.

- Hands-on experience with tender preparations, design development, technical proposals, coordination for fit-out, and submitting documentation for authorities and approvals.
- Proven ability in project planning, scheduling, managing resources, and budgeting within engineering or consultancy project settings.
- Thorough knowledge of Singapore building codes and Professional Engineer (PE) requirements, with a track record of effective liaison with PEs, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
- Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Microsoft Office suite, and project scheduling tools.
