About the Role
AFC Fylde is seeking a highly capable Chief Operating Officer to spearhead the club's commercial and operational activities off the field. This leadership position is central to advancing the club's supporter, sponsor, and customer experiences across all interaction points. Collaborating closely with the Chairman, Director of Football, and senior leadership, the COO will focus on expanding the club’s commercial ventures while upholding organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategies aimed at maximizing the club's revenue streams.
- Drive sales in sponsorships, advertising, and partnerships, nurturing strong stakeholder relations.
- Explore and implement new opportunities for commercial growth, including oversight of lottery and promotional campaigns.
- Lead planning and management of all matchday commercial operations, including ticketing, hospitality, and parking.
- Ensure premium experiences for sponsors, corporate guests, and supporters on matchdays.
- Monitor matchday revenue and operational results, while working to increase season ticket sales and attendance.
- Collaborate with hospitality teams to maintain exceptional service quality and maximize utilization of corporate offerings.
- Continuously enhance customer service and incorporate feedback improvements.
- Oversee club retail and merchandise sales, including stock management, supplier relations, and product development input.
- Manage and advance the club's media, marketing, and digital communications, maintaining engaging content across platforms.
- Initiate and support fanbase growth, community stakeholder relations, and community engagement programs across the Fylde Coast.

Additional Information
This full-time contract position is based at Mill Farm Sports Village, Wesham. The role offers a salary of up to A365,000 yearly.
