Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer to join a leading technology and digital infrastructure company located in Doha, Qatar. This senior position requires a candidate with 15 to 20+ years of progressive finance leadership, preferably within industries such as technology, ICT, digital services, cloud computing, data centres, telecommunications, or managed services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive financial management including financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and governance within technology-driven or publicly listed companies.
- Oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, treasury, taxation, and corporate finance activities.
- Prepare detailed cost pricing for major B2B IT projects, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls, enterprise risk management, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Engage and coordinate with regulators, external stakeholders, and manage reporting responsibilities for listed entities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership teams on strategic growth initiatives, investment opportunities, and operational performance enhancements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven prior experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within complex, high-growth technology environments.
- Profound knowledge of public company governance, regulatory reporting, and compliance standards.
- Professional finance certifications preferred, such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalents; MBA is an advantage.
- Strong command of written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
