About the Role

Become a vital member of Emirates' Catering team, contributing to an essential division responsible for delivering exceptional inflight dining and event catering experiences. This role focuses on maintaining and managing catering operations to meet the highest standards, overseeing equipment, amenities, and food services across global operations to enhance overall customer satisfaction and strengthen the Emirates brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance of base and international caterers with Emirates galley plans and standards, tracking any deviations for continuous performance improvement.
  • Oversee proper management of all stock held by service providers, authorize requisitions aligned with operational plans, and guarantee adherence to standard operating procedures for inventory control.
  • Initiate scheduled stock counts and perform physical verifications, validate consumption data before ERP updates, and analyze entries to release system transactions accordingly.
  • Maintain timely records of stock issues, transfers, and returns, ensuring verifications for a reliable audit trail.
  • Investigate discrepancies in meal counts with stakeholder cooperation to ensure accurate system records, preventing financial reconciliation issues.
  • Ensure all Emirates-sourced products are used within their shelf life, minimizing waste through effective write-off management and appropriate recycling measures.
  • Collect and evaluate crew feedback regarding products or services, assign corrective measures to caterers or service providers, and monitor compliance against established service level agreements.
  • Oversee quality checks for new products or service implementations.
  • Prepare, publish, and manage operational reports necessary to monitor key performance indicators for catering service providers.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possession of a Degree or Honours qualification equivalent to 12+3 years of education.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in inflight services or inflight catering environments.
  • Experience in operational business support roles focusing on inventory control, logistics, or distribution.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
