Job Overview and Responsibilities

As a Cashier and Category Associate at Gold Apple in Doha, Qatar, you will be responsible for fostering a welcoming shopping atmosphere, accurately processing various payment methods, and maintaining precise cash drawer balances. You will also stay informed about current promotions, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Inventory management and store upkeep are also key aspects of your role, including conducting routine stock counts, organizing merchandise displays, and updating price tags when the store is not busy. Adherence to company policies, including safety and security practices, is mandatory.

Requirements

• Completion of high school education or an equivalent qualification
• Prior cashier or customer service experience is advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities
• Proficient in mathematics with keen attention to detail
• Able to multitask effectively in a busy environment
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as required
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages
