Business Intelligence Analyst (Excel)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Consultant specializing in Excel to join our team on a contract basis working remotely. This position requires a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week with compensation ranging from $40 to $50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced Excel capabilities to organize, analyze, and present datasets for training artificial intelligence models.
• Work collaboratively with client teams to deliver effective business intelligence solutions.
• Prepare, clean, and validate extensive datasets to guarantee their accuracy for AI system use.
• Develop and document business intelligence workflows, communicating processes clearly both in writing and verbally.
• Convert business-related inquiries into practical data insights that facilitate model enhancements.
• Design comprehensive Excel-based reports, dashboards, and visualizations supporting AI training efforts.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in business intelligence or analytics with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Expert-level skills in advanced Excel features, including Power Query, PivotTables, VBA scripting, and data modeling techniques.
• Excellent communication skills suited to articulating complex data findings to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage remote work responsibilities and deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of business workflows and translating those into technical, data-driven solutions.
• Experience in cleaning, prepping, and validating large-scale datasets for analytics or AI purposes.
