Overview
The Business Development Manager plays a vital role in expanding the company's market presence by discovering new business opportunities, securing clients, fostering enduring customer relationships, and accomplishing revenue targets. This position involves managing the sales funnel, creating proposals, engaging in contract negotiations, and working closely with internal departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
Primary Duties
- Identify and cultivate fresh business prospects.
- Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline.
- Lead client meetings, deliver presentations, and handle negotiations effectively.
- Draft proposals, quotes, and contractual documents.
- Establish and sustain long-term relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to transform leads into completed projects.
- Perform market analysis and stay informed about industry developments.
- Keep CRM systems updated and generate comprehensive sales reports.
- Represent the organization at networking and industry-related events.
- Consistently meet monthly and yearly sales goals.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or closely related discipline.
- Between 3 to 5 years experience in business development or B2B sales environments.
- Proven success in achieving or surpassing sales targets.
