Role overview
The Brand Ambassador / Trainer will represent the company in the field and support sales activity across Ireland. This is a permanent position based in Shannon and reports to the Regional Sales Director for the UK and Ireland. The role is focused on improving retail performance in the assigned territory through store visits, training sessions, events, and technical support when needed. A key part of the job is to strengthen sell-through, maintain merchandising standards, and help build a continuous improvement approach across stores.

Key responsibilities
- Support retail staff and distributor partners on-site wherever required.
- Build a solid technical understanding of the company’s products, services, and competitive market.
- Create and maintain strong professional relationships with retail employees across the assigned territory.
- Increase retail staff knowledge of ZAGG products to support stronger store-level performance.
- Check merchandising compliance in stores when needed.
- Track inventory levels and help ensure products remain available and well stocked for customers.
- Arrange training sessions with store managers as required.
- Identify and secure weekly training opportunities at region, district, or store level to train staff efficiently.
- Complete and submit store visit reports regularly using a field management app.
- Use personal initiative to spot opportunities for process improvement.
- Continuously assess customer needs, clarify expectations, and validate requirements.
- Work closely with ZAGG colleagues and the contact centre to troubleshoot product-related issues.
- Define corrective actions and follow through until issues are resolved.
- Act as a bridge between Sales and other departments to support business growth.
- Travel extensively, with approximately 75% of the role involving travel.
- Carry out other duties as needed.
Experience and skills required
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- High-energy, self-motivated approach.
- Strong focus on sales and targets.
- Good technical aptitude, ideally gained in an accessory sales environment.
- Strong troubleshooting ability with effective root-cause analysis skills.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently to solve customer issues.
- Professional manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build friendly, empathetic, and professional conversations with customers.
- A clean driving licence is required.
