Role Overview

As a Starbucks barista, you will deliver the Starbucks Experience by providing excellent service and expertly preparing beverages and food items. Working in a lively store atmosphere, you will hone your craft, collaborate with colleagues, and engage with diverse customers. Every cup and smile you serve can brighten someone’s day.

Key Responsibilities

• Create memorable customer service experiences by engaging warmly and attentively with customers.
• Prepare beverages and food items according to standard recipes or accommodate customizations like ingredient substitutions and temperature adjustments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in your workspace throughout each shift.
• Handle store cash and ensure safety and security procedures are followed diligently.
• Adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment while keeping calm and maintaining quality.
• Take on a variety of tasks within the store during your shift to support overall operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• No prior work experience required.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality, with or without accommodations.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to meet store policies and standards consistently.
• Effectively communicate and understand customer needs through clear interactions.
• Learn quickly and follow oral and written instructions accurately, seeking clarification when necessary.
• Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment and build positive relationships.
