Bar Supervisor Role Summary

As a Bar Supervisor, you will ensure superior guest satisfaction by promoting exceptional service standards, overseeing operations, and supporting team member development. You will foster strong guest relations, manage daily bar functions efficiently, uphold brand and company policies, and contribute to creating memorable hospitality experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Guarantee associates consistently deliver brand promises and outstanding service to guests and internal teams.
• Observe and mentor staff in guest interaction skills; resolve guest and associate complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain positive relationships between guests and associates, emphasizing collaborative teamwork.
• Ensure full compliance with associate guidelines, company policies, and presentation standards.
• Stay informed about industry trends, hotel occupancy, events in Doha, and local hospitality developments to better serve guests.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of bar operations including floor layouts, beverages, menu details, garnishes, and applicable beverage management systems.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information and manage all administrative tasks such as associate reviews, stocktaking, and documentation accurately.
• Monitor staffing needs and productivity, assist in scheduling, and oversee associate training and development within the bar team.
• Facilitate efficient communication across the restaurant, update staff daily, and address performance issues per company policies.
• Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to all health and safety standards throughout the bar area.
• Collaborate with management to execute beverage policies and contribute to continuous improvement of service quality.

Customer Service Focus

• Provide polite, attentive, and prompt service, ensuring each customer's experience is outstanding and memorable.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior, building rapport to encourage repeat patronage.
• Adhere to all service standards including proper table maintenance and uniform requirements.

Additional Information

• Work closely with Assistant Bar Manager and Bar Manager on daily operations and responsibilities.
• Comply with agreed break schedules and staffing requirements to maintain smooth service flow.
