Role Overview
This position is for an Assistant Manager in back-end operations at a banking branch in New Delhi. The role focuses on handling customer-facing service support, transaction processing, compliance, and assistance to the branch operations manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Address customer requests related to cash handling, demand drafts, cheque deposits, and routine branch information.
- Process transactions with a strong focus on speed and accuracy.
- Deliver a smooth service experience that supports customer retention and positive referrals.
- Manage cash transactions directly with customers.
- Provide support to the Branch Operations Manager as needed.
- Support customer services connected to payments, cheque clearing, DD issuance, and printing.
- Follow KYC and AML rules and procedures.
- Prepare and submit CTR and STR reports.
- Handle ATM-related operational activities.
- Support trade forex services.
- Manage documentation for trade forex activities linked to import and export transactions.
Candidate Profile
The employer is looking for candidates with a customer-first mindset, clear communication, a basic grasp of banking processes, and working knowledge of MS Office.
