Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automobile Mechanic to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will handle periodic maintenance and repair of multiple-brand passenger cars, ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing and scheduled maintenance on a variety of passenger vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems including engine, clutch, gearbox, suspension, steering, and brakes.
• Inspect and repair air conditioning systems as needed.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and conduct basic electrical repairs to resolve issues.
• Utilize diagnostic scanners to detect and troubleshoot vehicle faults effectively.
• Carry out standard maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and brake servicing.
• Assess vehicles to identify any additional repairs required beyond initial checks.
• Execute pre-delivery inspections and ensure the highest standards of quality checks before handing over vehicles.
• Disassemble, service, and reassemble vehicle components accurately, adhering to repair guidelines.
• Adhere to safety protocols within the workshop and uphold cleanliness standards consistently.
• Complete assigned repair jobs within designated timeframes maintaining high workmanship quality.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and Floor In-charges to communicate vehicle complaints and update repair progress.
• Manage and take responsibility for tools and equipment used in the workshop during repairs.

Additional Information

• Work location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
• Monthly salary ranges between INR 22,000 to INR 28,000.
