About the Role

Join a dynamic and inclusive team at Marina Bay Sands as an Auditor, playing a key role in overseeing internal audit processes aligned with professional standards and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal audit engagements following approved programs and standards within set deadlines.
• Review transactions, documents, records and reports; compile and document relevant audit evidence thoroughly.
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness while safeguarding company assets through robust controls.
• Collaborate closely with team members by sharing insights, embracing feedback, and contributing to team tasks proactively.
• Report audit issues and concerns promptly to internal audit management during assignments and overall department operations.
• Engage with process owners and management to communicate audit results during fieldwork and upon completion.
• Prepare detailed written audit reports and present findings with actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
• Maintain strong client relationships by effectively communicating concerns and audit insights; support colleagues in upholding these standards.
• Conduct follow-up procedures to verify management implementation of agreed action plans.
• Stay updated on current regulatory frameworks and professional audit standards.
• Participate in initiatives led by senior management aimed at advancing the internal audit function to world-class standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support department goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferably hold a degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least two years of progressive work experience in finance, accounting, or auditing roles.
• Experience with a "Big Four" public accounting firm is highly advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong command of English for both verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with audit software such as Teammate or Pentana-Ideagen is beneficial.
• Well-developed analytical abilities along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrates high ethical standards, commitment, and adaptability to complex environments and evolving changes.
