Key Responsibilities
- Provide structural engineering solutions focused on existing medium to high-rise buildings.
- Conduct structural assessments, feasibility analyses, and defect investigations.
- Work collaboratively with architects, surveyors, and clients to formulate practical approaches.
- Prepare technical reports and recommend remedial or strengthening interventions.
- Perform site inspections to supervise works ensuring health, safety, and compliance standards.
Candidate Profile
- Possess over five years of post-qualification experience applying structural engineering principles to existing structures.
- Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Be a Chartered Engineer recognized by IStructE or ICE.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Tekla, TEDDS, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Have a thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes, CDM, and British Standards Association guidelines.
- Exhibit the ability to diagnose structural defects and design effective, pragmatic solutions.
Compensation and Benefits
