About Altis Labs
Altis Labs specializes in computational imaging aimed at enhancing the assessment of treatment benefits in oncology clinical trials. Their flagship AI technology, IPRO, predicts patient-level outcomes from standard medical imaging data, aiding global biopharmaceutical companies in accelerating Phase I–III clinical trials with confidence. The IPRO model is trained on an extensive dataset containing over 210 million images and more than one million patient-years of outcomes.

Role Overview
The Associate, People and Operations will be crucial in managing the daily functioning of the Toronto office. Reporting directly to the VP, Finance & Operations, this hybrid role requires office presence 2–3 days a week. The successful candidate will support senior leadership with calendar management and travel logistics, handle office operations, coordinate team events, manage hiring and onboarding processes, and undertake various administrative tasks necessary to maintain a growing company's workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage administrative tasks for senior leaders including calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Be the primary contact for office management, including supply oversight and vendor coordination.
- Organize and manage logistics and budgets for team events, offsites, and celebrations.
- Facilitate hiring and onboarding processes by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and preparing new hire logistics such as workspace and equipment.
- Assist with basic HR functions such as maintaining employee records and supporting internal company policies and communications.
- Provide light IT and compliance support by managing equipment and assisting with audit and compliance documentation.
- Contribute to marketing efforts by updating website content, drafting social media posts, and supporting communications.
- Handle miscellaneous projects and administrative duties to aid the team.
Candidate Profile and Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience supporting senior leadership in dynamic environments.
- Proactive, independent problem-solver comfortable with ambiguity and multitasking.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Experience supporting recruitment processes and familiarity with HR administrative duties.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple external vendors effectively.
- Comfortable utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity in research and communication tasks.
- Basic knowledge or eagerness to learn website CMS and social media platforms.
- Ability to work onsite in Toronto 2–3 days each week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fast-growing startups or small companies.
- Background in recruiting coordination or HR operations.
- Experience managing social media content and company websites.
- Familiarity with basic IT/device management and compliance assistance.
- Proficiency in tools like Notion, Google Workspace, or equivalent collaboration software.
