Role Overview

As an Associate Consultant in our Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice, you will play a pivotal role in interdisciplinary consulting teams. You will develop and implement strategic, innovative solutions for top-management challenges across industries in the Strategy and Corporate Finance sectors. Supporting international executives, you bring your expertise, initiative, and analytical insight. Acting as an idea catalyst, thought leader, and trusted advisor, you accompany leading figures and organizations in executing strategic initiatives, building strong client relationships, and maximizing enterprise value.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise top management across various industries on creating and executing strategic and financial solutions.
• Design and deploy forward-looking strategies and sustainable business models related to Strategy & Growth, Corporate Finance, M&A, and enterprise value optimization.
• Identify value-creation opportunities for global companies such as market attractiveness, development of growth-oriented business fields, and business model innovation.
• Develop business plans and derive insights and recommendations through qualitative and quantitative approaches, including operational transformations, transaction-related analyses, and transformative acquisitions.
• Gain comprehensive understanding of strategic value levers from top management and investor perspectives, including capital allocation and transaction strategies.
• Contribute to internal knowledge building, sharing, and advancing the Strategy & Corporate Finance community.

Candidate Profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or similar field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience at a leading top-management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity firm, or a strategic department focused on Strategy & Growth, Corporate Finance, M&A, or enterprise value enhancement.
• Strong domain knowledge in Strategy & Corporate Finance with solid understanding of relevant technologies, trends, and application methods.
• Proven record in designing and implementing strategic and financial solutions.
• Highly result-driven, combining strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking with strong service orientation.
• Open, team-focused, empathetic personality with a hands-on approach and an independent, structured, and professional working style.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to top management audiences in both German and English.
• Willingness to travel and enthusiasm for working in the dynamic environment of management consulting.
