Role Summary
The Assistant Restaurant Manager role is a full-time position based on-site in Dubai, supporting the seamless operation of one of the Rosy Hospitality Group's restaurants. This position involves assisting with daily front-of-house activities, upholding superior food, service, and cleanliness standards, and fostering a hospitable atmosphere for patrons. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring the customer-facing team, aiding recruitment and staff onboarding, and aligning employees with established service protocols and the brand ethos. This role also involves tracking customer feedback, resolving any guest issues, coordinating with kitchen and bar departments, managing bookings and table turnover during busy periods, assisting with inventory management, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. The Assistant Manager exemplifies professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction throughout all interactions.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- A customer-centric approach with demonstrated skills in enhancing customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Experience in recruitment, team supervision, coaching, training, and performance management.
- Strong communication abilities for effective engagement with guests, colleagues, and leadership.
- Comprehensive understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu knowledge, service protocols, and fundamental food safety standards.
- Previous hospitality or restaurant management or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Availability to work at the Dubai location with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Organizational strengths, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Competence in basic point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office applications; multilingual skills are advantageous.
