About the Role
Join a local, independently operated store committed to providing health, beauty, and convenience services within your community. In this position, you will work closely with customers, keeping their needs at the forefront of your efforts.
Role Purpose
This role supports the Front Store Manager (FSM) in overseeing the human, physical, and financial assets of the store. Your focus will be on ensuring the store meets its objectives by enhancing the flow of products from the backroom to the sales area.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enforce store standards that enhance customer experience, attract customer traffic, and improve store profitability.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure continuous adherence to store standards, including in the backroom area.
- Assist FSM in managing labor schedules, optimizing workforce productivity using Work Force Management (WFM) tools.
- Ensure adequate staffing to efficiently run store operations.
- Adhere to Human Resources policies and standards.
- Support or participate in hiring processes for all store departments except Pharmacy, alongside FSM.
- Manage wage administration according to prescribed guidelines.
- Promote company culture and values to engage and motivate staff effectively.
- Demonstrate effective leadership and provide ongoing mentorship and development opportunities for all team members.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently in response to changing store priorities while utilizing strong organizational and planning skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making capabilities, especially related to inventory management and expense control.
- Proven time management and organizational skills to handle dynamic retail environments.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Previous experience in retail management is essential.
- Proven track record of driving business success and supporting corporate initiatives through example.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication abilities.
- Business insight and financial understanding.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $26.00 per hour. Actual salary offered may depend on candidate experience, knowledge, and the geographical location of the store. This role is newly created. Artificial intelligence tools are used in the candidate selection process for this position.
