Area Sales Manager

Overview

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager with 3 to 12 years of experience in GIS field operations, project management, or government projects. The role involves overseeing field operations, managing survey teams, handling spatial data processing, training and supervising staff, preparing MIS reports, and acting as a liaison among various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field operations across designated project regions ensuring adherence to project goals.
• Manage field survey teams to maintain data accuracy, oversee equipment usage, and deliver spatial reports to clients or management.
• Process raw field data, execute spatial queries, manage spatial databases, and generate map outputs.
• Focus on ground-level data collection, verification, and mapping of boundaries/assets using precise instruments.
• Assign duties and supervise Team Leaders and Field Executives effectively.
• Conduct daily briefings, evaluate performance, and review survey progress regularly.
• Train, mentor, and support field teams to meet or exceed project targets.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and overall survey advancements.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive MIS reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Address on-site challenges promptly to ensure smooth running of projects.
• Coordinate with clients, government officials, police, local politicians, and other authorities as needed.
• Maintain strong communication channels between management and field personnel.
• Travel statewide as necessary to supervise and facilitate project execution.

Requirements

• 3 to 12 years of relevant experience in GIS field operations, project management, or government-related projects.
