About the Role
WestonWilliamson+Partners (WW+P), an acclaimed architecture and urban design firm within Egis Group, operates globally with studios in cities including Melbourne, London, and Toronto. Our Melbourne team is expanding, seeking an Architect to contribute to one of Victoria's landmark transport infrastructure projects.
This position is centered on design leadership in critical station architecture projects spanning all phases—from initial concept and stakeholder collaboration through to technical detailing, documentation, and final delivery—shaping public spaces that will serve millions for generations.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams comprising architects, urban designers, engineers, and clients. Responsibilities include innovating design solutions, interrogating project briefs, and transforming design concepts into viable, aesthetically compelling built environments. The opportunity exists for ownership of projects, development of personal design style, and progression into more senior roles as the programme advances.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with ongoing progress towards or completed professional registration.
- Proven experience in transport, infrastructure, or civic architectural design.
- Highly developed design skills adaptable from broad precinct planning to detailed executions.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Comprehensive understanding of the practical, commercial, and user-centered aspects of outstanding public architecture.
- Collaborative approach suited to a fast-paced, design-focused studio environment.
